Welcome!

Welcome!! My name is Paul Lappen. I am in my early 60s, single, and live in Connecticut USA. This blog will consist of book reviews, written by me, on a wide variety of subjects. I specialize, as much as possible, in small press and self-published books, to give them whatever tiny bit of publicity help that I can. Other than that, I am willing to review nearly any genre, except poetry, romance, elementary-school children's books and (really bloody) horror.

I have another 800 reviews at my archive blog: http://www.deadtreesreviewarchive.blogspot.com (please visit).

I post my reviews to:

booklore.co.uk
midwestbookreview.com
Amazon and B&N (of course)
Librarything.com
Goodreads.com
Books-a-million.com
Reviewcentre.com
Pinterest.com
and on Twitter

I am always looking for more places to post my reviews.

Math Question Book for GMAT Winners

Math Question Book for GMAT Winners, Jay John, ISBN 9798378455645

This book contains several hundred word problems covering all aspects of the math portion of the Graduate Management Admission Test (an important part of any MBA education).

The subjects explored include percent; time, speed and distance; interest and averages; geometry; algebra and probability. All problems are fully explained, along with alternate ways to solve them. The problems are based on those that have appeared in the GMAT in the past.

The best way to achieve mastery of GMAT math is to brush up on each topic, then practice, man, practice. As with the other books in this series, this book is recommended not just for people taking the GMAT. It is also recommended for high school and college students who are ready for an intellectual challenge.
