Feelings Fade. The Gospel Doesn't: Five Worldviews. One Truth

Feelings Fade. The Gospel Doesn't: Five Worldviews. One Truth, Michael A. Cabezas, 2026

This book is all about different worldviews -- ways of looking at the world around us. The author compares each of them to orthodox Christianity.

No doubt, you have heard of secularism, relativism, atheism and agnosticism. It is tempting to say that if a thing, like faith, cannot be seen or held in your hand, it can be ignored. Everyone has their own conception of morality, and all are equally valid, why can't I choose my own morality?

Have you heard of Progressive Christianity? It is when social justice (which should absolutely be encouraged) becomes more important than Scripture. Isn't Scripture what church is all about?

A normal aspect of human behavior is to question the world around them, and look for their own path through life. Shouldn't there be some sort of moral "base-line" or "starting point" on which everyone can agree? The Bible works really well.

The author is not advocating that everyone convert to Christianity. Sometimes, the best way to get a person to take a serious look at the Bible and Christianity is to live a good, moral, "Christian" life. Has your faith, or that of a loved one, gone from "sure thing" to "maybe?" This book will help. It is worth the time and money.
