Are you an emotional eater? Do you eat when you are not hungry? This book may be able to help.
The most important thing is to identify your trigger. Do you overeat because of home stress, or work stress (or something else)? Do you, for instance, eat just a couple of cookies, or, do you stop when the bag is empty? Have some alternative actions available, for when that moment comes. Meditate, or do some yoga. Go for a long walk, or consider some self-compassion.
Have you thought of asking the Lord for help? If you start a closer relationship with God, I’m sure that He will be happy to help you get over whatever the problem is.
This is a very interesting book. For those who have tried everything else, maybe this is the answer. It is really worth reading.
