Welcome!

Welcome!! My name is Paul Lappen. I am in my early 60s, single, and live in Connecticut USA. This blog will consist of book reviews, written by me, on a wide variety of subjects. I specialize, as much as possible, in small press and self-published books, to give them whatever tiny bit of publicity help that I can. Other than that, I am willing to review nearly any genre, except poetry, romance, elementary-school children's books and (really bloody) horror.

I have another 800 reviews at my archive blog: http://www.deadtreesreviewarchive.blogspot.com (please visit).

I post my reviews to:

booklore.co.uk
midwestbookreview.com
Amazon and B&N (of course)
Librarything.com
Goodreads.com
Books-a-million.com
Reviewcentre.com
Pinterest.com
and on Twitter

I am always looking for more places to post my reviews.

Sketchbook: Cute Unicorn Sketchbook

Sketchbook: Cute Unicorn Sketchbook, Maky Publishing, Independently Published, 2022

This blank sketchbook is intended for young girls to doodle, or draw, or whatever (notice the unicorn on the cover).

This book is not just for young girls. An artist can use it to plan their next great artistic creation. A production designer can use it to bring an entrepreneur's product idea to life. An entrepreneur can brainstorm the next Great Product that will eventually create America's next billionaire. The same girl using this book for drawing or doodling can use it to take notes in class or start writing the next Great American Young Adult Novel.

This book is recommended for kids and adults, for any purpose where large amounts of blank paper are needed. This book is worth the money; just ignore the unicorn on the cover (if necessary).
