Welcome!

Welcome!! My name is Paul Lappen. I am in my early 60s, single, and live in Connecticut USA. This blog will consist of book reviews, written by me, on a wide variety of subjects. I specialize, as much as possible, in small press and self-published books, to give them whatever tiny bit of publicity help that I can. Other than that, I am willing to review nearly any genre, except poetry, romance, elementary-school children's books and (really bloody) horror.

I have another 800 reviews at my archive blog: http://www.deadtreesreviewarchive.blogspot.com (please visit).

I post my reviews to:

booklore.co.uk
midwestbookreview.com
Amazon and B&N (of course)
Librarything.com
Goodreads.com
Books-a-million.com
Reviewcentre.com
Pinterest.com
and on Twitter

I am always looking for more places to post my reviews.

Air Fryer Cookbook for Beginners UK 2021

Air Fryer Cookbook for Beginners UK 2021, Michael Williams, 2021

Air fryers seem to be the newest thing in the cooking world. Are they really worth it? Is air frying that much of an improvement over regular cooking? This book attempts to answer those questions.

It contains over 100 recipes, including French toast, banana bread, spicy chicken legs, breaded pork chops, feta spinach and fudge brownies. There are also recipes for those who are on the keto diet. Greatly reducing the amount of oil needed in cooking can only help with weight loss and avoiding high cholesterol and heart disease.

If you have received an air fryer as a gift, and are wondering what to do with it, try one or two of the recipes in this book. The picky eater in your household might like it. This book is worth checking out.
