Part 2 of a series, this story is about James "Mack" MacNaughton, a Vietnam veteran who has had his fill of war. Several unexplained things have happened in his life.
Courtesy of a red ruby with supernatural powers, Mack finds himself in the middle of the Revolutionary War. He also has fallen for Toey, a Cherokee princess. Mack does not want to change history, but he wants to stay away from the British as much as possible. Several supernatural beings, including angels and beings from Cherokee folklore, tell Mack that he has a destiny to fulfill. Does it involve Toey? Does it involve returning to the 21st Century?
Here is an excellent piece of writing. It has historical
fiction, it's just weird enough, without being too weird, and it has true love.
The reader will not go wrong with this one.
